Don't know how to feel about Naga, feel like she might be very stiff and find it hard to let go

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:18
naga quite good headline is bad but that will come - pasha dont put kicks in for a beginner - big club foot grrrr weldone naga

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:19
Top line and hand placement needs work

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:20
yeah headline is poor

Posted By: Tups
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:21
Naga is a lovely looking woman.. like a pixie.. would have preferred Pasha in tails .. looked scruffy rather than casual

Posted By: Tups
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:23

Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:34
Judge Rinder was a surprise lol, Oh heck it`s my favourite (NOT) I`ve fed the dog, so I`ll hide behind a cushion.

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:43
shame they were stuck with this music and theme but some good tango in there

Posted By: Tups
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:43
sorry to say, that was too gimmicky, would have preferred a classic tango

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:43
Not bad from Ore, took a while to get started and wasn't very passionate

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:45
cos they were stuck with that music and theme which I loathed but the tango basic was good

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:46
Agree bren, pity about music choice but there was some lovely tango steps

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:50
this routine is gimmick to cover lack of latin jive basic but loads or energy but not much jive there

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:52
Not many jive steps but he had great energy

Posted By: Tups
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:52
think the jive is a hard dance for a first dance and the free arm looked awkward

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:52
was very stompy and cant believe they are getting away with lack of content

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:53
but like Greg

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 21:55

nite nite tups

Posted By: Andrew
Date Posted: 23 Sep 2016 at 22:35
I thought the first show was pretty average, no one was that bad - although with Ed Balls on tomorrow, I doubt that'll remain the case for long.

The blog is up now.

Just watching on catch up - quite a few that should/could be good, I think. I had a big grin all the way through Judge Rinder but the faces might get annoying. Poor Natalie - think she must have caught her skirt on something on her way to dance & left some of it behind. That flappy bit with the flesh coloured part really put me off!!

The pick of the bunch for me were Ore & Jo.

He looked assured and led really well for a fella.
Think he might be even better in latin dances.

Naga's waltz was lovely and Judge R's cha good fun.

Roll on this evening

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain.

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 18:47
Enjoyed Kev and Louise. Good amount of jive steps in there, Louise had good pointed feet. Lovely couple

Posted By: Bren

Posted By: Maisie
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 18:53
Another one who might be good - it was alright.

Posted By: Tups
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 18:54
was it my imagination that he was a bit stiff and stompy?

Posted By: allaboutthedance
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 18:54
Dunno was expecting more from Melvin

Posted By: Maisie
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 18:55
Bren - if there were more basic steps in it, would that help in any way to get the hip action going?

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 18:55
spot on Tups and all Janette's fault he has potential but she just does not do technqiue

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 19:09

Posted By: Maisie
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 19:24
Probably want the 'performances' from her as everyone else is looking good rather than comical? Although yet to see Ed!!

Posted By: Maisie

Posted By: Bren
Date Posted: 24 Sep 2016 at 19:26
