Crumbs. That's early this year.

I'm guessing most of the celebs must be signed up.

I think Craig Revel Horwood said more or less in an interview all celebs signed.
As didn't Cheryl Baker say, 'Thats me scuppered' - or words to that effect.
Could be a bluff tho.

Norwich City chairman Ed Balls has reportedly signed up to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2016 alongside the likes of Will Young and Louise Redknapp who are also believed to be joining the show.

Former Labour shadow chancellor Ed Balls stated in an interview with the BBC in 2015 that he didn’t feel “equipped for Strictly”, however time seems to have changed his mind, as he will reportedly be putting on his dancing shoes this year and taking to television to perform in the hit ballroom show.

The ex-MP is set to become the first male politician to ever take part in the programme, following in the footsteps of former conservative MPs Ann Widdecombe and Edwina Currie.

The 49-year-old is no novice when it comes to the limelight, having previously taken part in The Great Sport Relief Bake Off, where he was a firm favourite with viewers but sadly lost out to Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh whose Kilimanjaro cake stole the show, and last year revealed that he had also been offered a chance to appear on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here after the election in May.

As for his dancing skills, the father-of-three proved he can move back in 2014 when he was caught on camera doing a rendition of Psy’s Gangnam Style at a Labour Party conference in Manchester.

Strictly’s autumn series will coincide with the release of Mr Balls’ memoir of his time in politics, ‘Speaking Out - Lessons In Life And Polictics’ which is set to come out on September 8.

Other stars believed to be joining Ed Balls on this season of Strictly Come Dancing include actress Lesley Joseph, singer Will Young, TV presenters Laura Whitmore and Louise Redknapp, and former royal butler Paul Burrell.

I'd like to see her last more than the first few weeks,
She's had a few older guys recently hasn't she (Tim Wonnacott springs to mind)

I wonder who Anton will get this year

personally think Natalie will be awful with Will - but according to his website Will is 1.8m which is 5ft 9in which would make them dead height without shoes so hoping he is too small would really like to see Will with Joanne - as think this would be a great match

I think Natalie deserves a better partner but frankly not the greatest fan of her latin dancing

Do you think it's a cert that Kevin will get Lesley Joseph (due to height?)
I'm presuming they won't do a 'Lulu' and pair her with Brendan. That pairing was wrong in every way (imo)

I'd love Natalie to get someone good to last a while. I love her so
much, she is always positive and brings the best out of her partners even if she knows they are crap.

I really hope Kev gets a duffer this series so it will get the trolls off his back on twitter etc quite frankly he never got three certs for the final since he was on the show - who would have thought Susannah Reid or Kellie Bright would make the final against the field they were in - on paper yes Frankie was a contender.

So for Kev's sake hope he does get an older dancer - so he gets and easier time of it - some of the conversations on twitter from numpties who really believed he was Len's god son were pathetic

JOanne didn't partner anyone last year from memory did she? I just remember her having the DJ who was rubbish. She's done well with her not so good partners from memory too.

Kevin 's done really well with his partners...
especially Susanna & Kelly who weren't vote winners.

I'm hoping he gets Lesley Joseph. Would be a fun team.

agree Jo think Kev will be superb with an older less gifted partner can imagine he will create really clever routines to cover their lack of skill up full of fun

Yes Deb only had Scott Mills but she won christmas special with Harry with Fab routine

thanks Sue - yep it is just on 5ft 11 but google still telling me 5ft 9  duh - still hope he is not wasted on Natalie (sorry Natalie fans)
