The skeleton in the car park have been confirmed as that of the last King to have died in Battle.
King Richard III was killed at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 the final battle of the War of the Roses in which the Tudor Dynesty began.
After the battle of Bosworth Richard was taken to Leicester and took to the Grey Friars Church where he was placed without a coffin. When Henry VIII began the reformation Grey Friars was demolished.
It has taken till now and the dedication of the King Richard III Society to finally find Richard.
Now that he has been found he will be interred to Leicester Cathedral and given a proper burial with dignity.  Richard III will be buried in 2014.

I have begun to look at Richard in a new light.  I have always been against him because of the Princes in the Tower but no one will ever know the truth about what has happened to them only from information which was written at the time.

Its pretty amazing to see the technology used to identify Richard III and the facial reconstruction to give us a better idea of what he may have actually appeared in life.
