Five things that made me happy this week

by Jeff Brazier, Daily Mirror http://www.mirror.co.uk/life-style/kids-and-family/2011/12/08/ - 8/12/2011

Five things that have made me feel happy..

1 I was honoured to host the Great British Care Awards. I gave a 10-minute speech about my brother Spencer, which went down well. Carers like the ones who have supported Spencer are truly inspirational people.

2 What a laugh it was to be Santa for a day! I had many a yummy mummy bouncing on my knee as I asked them what they wanted for Christmas. It’s great to acknowledge the hard work Mums put in for Christmas to make the day special for their kids.

3 A big thanks to This Morning for hiring me to report on the next series of Dancing On Ice. I’m a big fan and can’t wait for the show to come back and although Holly will be missed I think Christine Bleakley is going to be absolutely great.

4 You can’t beat a bit of bowling with the family – I love watching kids’ victory dances when they knock down a few pins! I went with my best mate Dean and his two – Grace, 11, and five-year-old Ellis.

5 On the subject of Gracie, can you believe a boy slapped her and wasn’t expelled?! Luckily Gracie is tougher than a few adults I know!

ahahaha hahahahahahahaha aaaaahahahahahahahahahaha aaaha aha

So pushy old Hayley's not doing it anymore? How UNFORTUNATE. Brace yourselves for a barrage of retweets about jobs she thinks she'd be suitable for (note that not one of them has come to pass). Jeff is infinitely more likeable than her anyway. I couldn't even bring myself to watch the This Morning clips when she was on. I bet she's furious. Ha.

I heard Philip Schofield wasn't exactly her biggest fan, any truth in that?

Well I'm happy to hear about Hayley being replaced, never found myself a fan of her at all

Catwoman: "For one if I was a bloke, I would not flirt with you two. I have standards."
Toots: "If I had a figure like Ola's, I'd wear that outfit to Sainsburys!"
