As a former WAG, Lizzie Cundy knows her stuff when it comes to football.

But its probably safe to say when it comes to another sport, ice-skating, the TV presenter has a lot of learn.

The mother-of-two, 42, repeatedly crashed to the ice as she attended the launch of the temporary winter ice rink at London's Natural History Museum.

Fortunately she wasn't hurt and managed to see the funny side as she burst into laughter several times.

Attempting to teach Cundy to stay upright on the ice was her actress friend, Dancing On Ice 2010 champion Hayley Tamaddon.

The former Emmerdale actress, 34, ended up catching Cundy in her arms as she lost her balance.

At one point, Cundy grabbed hold of a model penguin to try and help her glide along the ice, but crashed to the ground with it.

But it appears she eventually got the hang of it given her Twitter status.

She tweeted: 'Just skated with the amazing Hayley.

'Hayley says I'm a natural born skater but I'm not a patch on Greg Burns!!'

Also at last night's launch event for the Winter rink was Sharron Davies, Laura Hamilton and The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright.

The Essex fashionista brought her little sister and co-star Ellie Redman.

Bright tweeted: 'With the girls and The Snowman at skating wrapped up warm for the occasion.

'On the ice skating rink with mini me tried to pull me over 7 times that would have made headlines.'
