Dancing On Ice hit by claims of phone vote scandal

  • March 30, 2011 - - - - - - - -
PHILLIP%20SCHOFIELD%20DANCING%20ON%20ICE%20PHONE%20VOTE%20SCANDALITV has been accused of another - Dancing On Ice phone vote scandal – after host - Phillip Schofield read out the wrong results figures.

Speaking on This Morning, which he also presents, Phil said VC hero Johnson Beharry won the public vote eight times when it was only four.

Wrong figures also appeared on the show website, leading viewers to once again question the way phone votes are handled.

One angry viewer said: "I'm fed up with voting scandals, it makes me think we shouldn't bother watching if it's a fix. What if they made a mistake about someone meant to be in the skate off?"

ITV lost £18million in 2007 over rigged phone votes on entertainment shows including the X Factor and Saturday Night Takeaway.

ITV denies miscalculating votes, blaming the mishap on a "script error".

Just two weeks ago thousands of votes cast by the public for Dancing on Ice were not counted.

Mobile phone company Vodafone said 11,500 votes were not registered on Saturday as they were 'not delivered on time'. - Source

The last part of your posting is utterly incorrect, appalling research - the vodafone issue happened FOUR years ago.

If all those votes didn't get counted 2 weeks ago which was when Jeff went out then maybe he shouldn't have gone when he did?????Cry

That could be true if Jeff was in the show 4 years ago. There was NO VOTING SCANDAL a fortnight ago, the source article has quoted a news story from 2007.
