Last night's Skating With The Stars turned into a bloodbath before the cameras even began rolling.

Olympic gold medallist skier, Johnny Moseley, 35, was rehearsing for the show with partner Brooke Castile when she stumbled and fell and his skate sliced her finger down to the bone.

Brooke began bleeding all over according to onlookers and had to be taken to a local hospital where she received stitches to her hand.

Show must go on: Last night, despite a serious earlier accident, Johnny Moseley and his injured partner Brooke Castile still made it through to next week

The on-ice accident came just hours after contestant Brandon Smith was also rushed to the emergency room after he began vomiting and was having difficulty breathing.

The singer and actor was believed to be suffering from food poisoning and was allowed to take a break from competing in this week's show.

The judges watched footage from his rehearsal sessions instead.

But in true Hollywood style, the show must go on, and Brooke chose to hit the ice anyway, despite her injury and her performance with Johnny placed them in the safe category.

This week it was Motley Crue's Vince Neil's turn to go home.

The singer got voted off after an uninspiring performance with his partner Jennifer Wester.

Last week the rocker came crashing down to earth, taking his dance partner with him while trying to perform a lift.

Vince was lifting Jennifer when he lost his footing and dropped to one knee and slid on the ice to the edge of the rink.

Safe: Real Housewife of New York Bethanny Frankel is safe for another week despite a lacklustre performance

Real Housewife of New York Bethenny Frankel and actress Rebecca Budig were also all safe to skate another week.

Each contestant is marked out of ten by the judges - choreographer Laurie Ann Gibson and Olympic figure skaters Johnny Weir and Dick Button - for both their technical merit and artistic impression.

The show is hosted by Vernon Kay, 35, who is married to Strictly Come Dancing host Tess Daly.

The ex-Big Breakfast presenter is reportedly set to net £300,000 from his stint as the host on the show, which is based on the British series Dancing On Ice.
