AN X Factor boyband, who go down a storm on tonight's show have already performed with a string of top stars, TV Biz can reveal.

FYD - For Your Destiny - are a bunch of ambitious professional backing singers and dancers who only got together for the ITV talent show.

Ryan-Lee Seager, Alex Murdoch, Matt Boots Newtion, Kalvin Lamey and Jordan Gabriel auditioned as FYE (For Your Entertainment).

But then they found out another band al- ready had the name, so they changed it.

The lads' rendition of Plan B's She Said is a hit with Simon Cowell and Co - but they've had plenty of X-perience.

Ryan's done backing vocals for Paulo Nutini and Alphabeat and danced with Louie Spence at Pineapple Dance Studios.

Matthew - who made it to boot camp as a soloist two years ago - has worked with Alexandra Burke and French and Saunders.

Model Alex sang and danced for JLS and posed with catwalk queens Lily Cole and Kate Moss.

Kalvin has worked with singer Duffy, rappers Ironik and Chipmunk and ex-Strictly star Arlene Phillips.

And Frenchman Jordan has sung with loads of stars in his home country and the UK.

A show source said: "These lads have certainly put in the hours so far.

"They hope by forming a band they'll finally hit the big time."
