Strictly Come Dancing 2016: BBC slam James Jordan’s ‘rubbish’ fix claim
EMMA POWELL

The BBC has slammed James Jordan’s claim that Strictly Come Dancing is fixed.

Jordan accused show bosses of specifically pairing some professionals with celebrities who have previous experience in a bid to help them stay in the competition for as long as possible.

Jordan – who quit the BBC ballroom show in 2013 – made the claims during Saturday night’s launch show which saw Will Young paired with Karen Clifton and Louise Redknapp partnered with Kevin Clifton.

Acknowledging the pairings on Twitter Jordan posted: "Tweeps..Did anyone notice some pro's ALWAYS get celebs that have had loads of dance training. Not fair on other pros. Not been challenged."

He claimed Young has “had lots of dance experience” before adding: "Ore is smashing it.....Could have 3 Clifton's in the final. The producers have been trying for years to get one of them to win #fact."

My early prediction for the final

Kevin and Louise
AJ and Olympic girl
Will and Karen
Melvin and Janette

A BBC spokesperson denied the show was a fix and branded the claims “complete and utter rubbish”.

“Pairings of celebrities with the professional dancers is based on many factors and designed to give the celebrities the best possible experience on the show," they said. "It’s the public who decides the winner, not producers.”

Fans of the show also blasted Jordan and accused him of being "bitter and "jealous" while another joked that he should try and bag himself an appearance on Who's Doing the Dishes?.

One viewer posted: "I enjoy reading your Strictly tweets but when you say things like that it just sounds like sour grapes."

That's just silly.

If the producers want a Clifton to win...

Why have they given Kevin 3 women over 40?
Why did they drop Joanne last year?
Why did they give Karen Dave or Jeremy?

If any of the Cliftons win they've earned it.

his tweet caused some terrible tweets

1 from OLA JORDAN  with a shock face she posted I thought Will was going to be with a man and that started trolls on Karen - Ola liked tweets that replied he is with a man

then followers of James started on all three Cliftons some were vile though they are gone now when Shirley Ballas replied with Kevin and Jo are Super Star - they started in on her questioning her qualifications (11 times world latin champ) and then people in USA DWTS fans to get involved - it caused ructions

All because this little toad is jealous - because he never won a tenth of what Jo and Kev have - many of the dance world's greats have been commenting over his posts and what happened - it has not put him in anyones good books
