He's still got it! Tommy Chong, 76, becomes oldest dancer to advance this far on DWTS as Antonio Sabato Jr goes home

Tommy Chong was really smoking on Monday night on Dancing With The Stars.

The former stoner and Cheech & Chong star at age 76 has been the oldest contestant on the show and now has become the oldest dancer to ever make it through week seven.

Despite his advanced age and drug-taking history the comic was leaving the youngsters in the dust.

At the conclusion of a Halloween-themed live show General Hospital hunk Antonio Sabato Jr, 42, was eliminated – despite being more than three decades younger than Tommy.

'It's all about the fans, that's why I'm here,' said Antonio as he was booted from the competition.

Tommy unsurprisingly ‘likes to take tea breaks' and has trouble with his knee joints - but he still cuts a dapper figure on the dance floor.

He opened the night with a jaunty quickstep with his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd.

As usual the panel loved the That '70s Show actor, who spent time in jail in 2003 for selling pot pipes and bongs.

Judge Len Goodman called him ‘easy on the eye' but Carrie Ann Inaba thought it was slightly off tempo.

‘But this was still one of your best routines so far,' she assured the Up In Smoke actor.

He received four sevens for a score of 28 out of 40.

Back To The Future actress Lea Thompson, 53, had been tearful in rehearsals.

She dried her eyes for a raunchy Argentine tango with Artem Chigvintsev.

Bruno got so excited he fell off his chair.

Len said it was ‘clean and precise' but thought it lacked a bit of chemistry.

They were awarded 34 points.

YouTube blogger Bethany Mota, 18, has been ‘losing focus,' according to her partner Derek Hough.

She wore a scarlet backless gown for her paso doble that scored an excellent 39 out of 40.

‘The embodiment of the flames of passion,' raved flamboyant judge Bruno Tonioli.

Antonio was at the bottom of the board last week and he improved slightly with his Viennese waltz - among bubbling cauldrons and smoking graves.

He and pro partner Cheryl Burke scored 27 – not enough to keep him in the game.

Race car champion Michael Waltrip, 51, struggled to learn his speedy cowboy-themed jive with Emma Slater.

Len ripped the drvier saying he couldn't believe he's even made it to week seven.

‘In driving terms you're running on empty,' he told him.

Julianne called it ‘a nightmare' and Bruno said it was completely ‘off time'.

They scored only 20 for the lowest score of the night.

Janel Parrish, 25, did a murderous Viennese waltz to the theme song from Pretty Little Liars.

She relished the opportunity to ‘kill' her partner Val Chmerkovskiy with a theatrical blow to the head.

Julianne Hough wanted her to work on her arm moves, as did Bruno.

They received 31 points.

He also announced that his was wife pregnant with their second child after his rumba with Witney Carson earned high praise.

'The integrity was amazing,' Carrie Ann told the Bronx-born actor who raised 36 points – highest on the scoreboard once again.

Youngest contestant Sadie Robertson skipped onto the stage for an energetic paso doble with Mark Ballas.

The panel was polarized.

‘You are so cute,' Carrie Ann told the 17-year-old Duck Dynasty reality star who scored 30.

The dancers were then split into teams for a freestyle dance off.

Team Itsy Bitsy had a sparkling, spider web theme.

Beth and Derek along with Janel and Val went a bit hip-hop while Michael and Emma swished in ballroom fashion with Lea and Artem.

‘Queens of the night,' said Carrie Ann.

‘You killed that number,' screeched Bruno as they were given 36 out of 40.

Team Creepy did a carnival-inspired extravaganza to a tune from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Wearing mime make up and circus garb they whizzed through a twirling, can-can freestyle with an impressive lift by Antonio.

‘Quirky… mad as hell,' said Bruno who thought they weren't quite in sync with each other.

Len loved the display of personality - and they got 32.

The dancing continues next week on the primetime ABC programme.
