Olly Murs to Factor in One Direction tour

Singer to host live Xtra Factor shows

OLLY Murs has confirmed that he WILL host the next series of The Xtra Factor. 

There were fears he would quit the ITV2 spin-off show because he would be busy supporting 
One Direction on their US tour. 

The gigs – which kick off at the end of May – clash with The X Factor 
auditions so the singer will only join the programme for the live shows in 
the autumn. 

A show source said: "X Factor bosses loved Olly on last year's show and really 
wanted him to do it. 

"Once the One Direction tour was confirmed we decided to offer him just the 
live shows instead."

His Xtra Factor sidekick Caroline Flack – who used 
to date One Direction's Harry Styles – will front the 
audition-based Xtra Factors by herself. 

The deal is being finalised by Olly's management and X Factor chiefs.
