Winning streak! Katherine Jenkins shows off her sexy side on DWTS… and lands top of the leaderboard once again

She may have an angelic voice and looks to match, but Katherine Jenkins was determined to show off her sexy side on this week’s Dancing With The Stars.

The Welsh opera singer pulled some sultry moves as she took to the dance floor alongside partner Mark Ballas to show off her jive in a shimmering black and pink frock.

The pair had wowed the judges and the audience in last week’s premiere episode but Katherine didn’t grow complacent tonight and landed another score of 26 out of 30.

On a roll: Katherine Jenkins found herself at the top of the Dancing With The Stars leader board for the second week in a row

Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli both awarded the blonde nine points apiece, but Len Goodman gave the star eight after claiming the seductive dance was not entirely his ‘cup of tea’.

He said ‘I loved the start, the whole end section – the middle section wasn’t really my cup of tea. It was wild and wacky.’

But Bruno felt differently and told the star: ‘The blonde bombshell is unleashed. I know sexy when I see it and you’ve got it.’

Out of her comfort zone: The Welsh opera singer was forced to show off her sexy side as she danced the jive

'Welsh wiggle': Katherine looked lovely in a shimmering black and pink dress as she danced with Mark Ballas

As one of the contestants will be eliminated in tomorrow night’s episode of the dance show, tonight saw a good deal more pressure placed on the celebrities.

Although last week ended with just six points between the top and bottom scores, tonight’s combined results separated the wheat from the chaff.

And some of the stars could find themselves in hot water after failing to rake up an impressive score.

Character dancing: Maria Menounos also impressed the judges with her Bonnie and Clyde inspired jive

Ouch: Maria 'powered through' the routine despite an injured rib

Martina Navratilova, Melissa Gilbert, Gladys Knight and Gavin DeGraw found themselves with the least points.

Tennis star Martina, who had the lowest result, both for tonight and overall, was told by Bruno: ‘I think that serve went into the net.’

Len awarded a score of five to soul singer Gladys, to be met by lots of boos from the audience.

Starting the show: Roshon Fegan wowed the judges and landed a 26 alongside Katherine

In hot water: Martina Navratilova (L) and Gladys Knight could find themselves in trouble when it comes to the elimination show

Happy: Donald Driver was delighted when Len Goodman apologised for 'under-marking' him the week before

Jaleel had topped the leaderboard last week alongside Katherine but struggled more with his jive this evening and landed a satisfactory 22 points.

Others fared a lot better than they had done in their first performance and Roshon Fegan joined Katherine Jenkins at the top of the scoreboard.

The show’s youngest contestant was told by Carrie Ann: ‘You turned the swagger into sophistication.’

Eye candy: William Levy didn't fare quite as well as last week but still did a good job

Disappointing: Jaleel White delivered a show-stopping performance last week but found the jive to be a lot trickier

Meanwhile Donald Driver came back fighting after a weak result last week and even received an apology from Len for his previous score.

The judge said: ‘I watched the show back last night and I apologise, I under-marked you.’

Bruno added: ‘You’ve taken our comments on board, and like a true sportsman you came back and proved us wrong.’

Maria Menounos also impressed and won 25 points for her Bonnie and Clyde inspired jive, which Bruno dubbed ‘nearly spotless’.

Maria has said that being a 'tough Greek' helped her battle through her routine with a broken rib.

Confidence is key: The judges overlooked a misstep made by Sherri Shepherd because she danced with such enthusiasm

Enthusiastic: Gavin DeGraw (L) and Jack Wagner tried their best but fell towards the bottom of the leaderboard

The Extra presenter, 33, insisted that she would 'power through' the pain, and was forced to wear a rib brace under her dress.

Sherri Shepherd may have made a misstep but recovered well and won over the judges thanks to her confidence, landing a score of23.

Bruno told The View host, ‘You know how to shake that equipment,’ while Carrie Ann added: ‘Sherri Shepherd, I am in love with you.’

Jack Wagner didn’t captivate the judges quite as well as he did last week and Len told the star he was ‘a little disappointed’ with his dance moves, while William Levy was branded ‘the Harry Connick, Jr. of the dance floor’ by Carrie Ann.

Playing it safe: Melissa Gilbert looked lovely but her quickstep was deemed too stiff
