The first week out and she got one of the highest-ever starting scores. It just puts even more pressure on me

DANCING On Ice babe Jennifer Ellison reckons only gorgeous Jorgie Porter can stop her winning the crown.

Former Brookie babe Jen, who skated for the first time last night, reckons the Hollyoaks hottie is her “biggest threat” in the telly contest

The 28-year-old watched in awe last week as Jorgie won high praise from the judges before receiving the night’s top marks of 18.5 out of 30.

And Jen admitted before taking to the ice last night that she has her sights set on beating the 24-year- old above anyone else.

“Clearly Jorgie is the one to watch,” said Jen.

“The first week out and she got one of the highest-ever starting scores. It just puts even more pressure on me.”

And Jen last night lost the first round against her rival as she and 35-year-old skating partner Daniel Whiston scored 15.5 – with two judges pointing out how tense she was.

Louie Spence, 42, said: “It was beautifully choreographed but there was tension in your shoulders.”

Fellow judge Robin Cousins, 54,    added: “The tension crept in when you got to the    skating  that needed to be done a bit more.”

Meanwhile Emmerdale hunk Matthew Wolfenden has been nicknamed “Wolfen-bum’’ after his trousers fell down during rehearsals yesterday.

The 31-year-old, who plays David Metcalfe in the ITV1 soap, has lost so much weight in train- ing since being fitted for his costume in November that it slipped, flashing his backside to his fellow celebs.

Wardrobe staff department had to make hasty 11th hour repairs to ensure he didn’t suffer the same embarrassment on last night’s live show.

Also making a last-minute recovery was Christine Bleakley, 32, who got off her sick bed to present the show.

The Irish beauty had been struck down with food poisoning for much of last week and there were fears she might not rally in time to front the programme.

But she went on Twitter just before going on air last night to announce: “I’ve taken pill precautions today.”
