TOWIE star Mark Wright jetted into Australia for I'm A Celebrity last night — and admitted he fears being forced by viewers into doing EVERY Bushtucker Trial.

In an exclusive interview with TV Biz, the newly-single 24-year-old told how he is up for romance after his relationship with Essex girl Sam Faiers fizzled out.

But he is worried his "ladies man" reputation may catch up with him — and ITV1 viewers will vote for him to do all the bug-eating tasks.

He admitted: "I am a little bit worried about that.

"I don't want to say what I am not looking forward to in the trials in case people vote for me to do it. But I'll get on with it and take one for the team.

"The more I get voted to do, the more I get to show the public I have more to offer."

Mark said he couldn't wait to get into the jungle so the public could see the REAL him.

He said: "It is a weird feeling doing this show but I am really excited — and extremely nervous.

"Leaving TOWIE was very upsetting. It is the thing that put me on the map, but it is the right thing to move on and take up other opportunities. The jungle will be great for my future."

The Only Way Is Essex viewers last night saw Mark's final episode in which things failed to work out with first love Lauren Goodger or new flame Sam — not that she looked too bothered as she worked out with a trainer in an Essex park this week.

His thoughts have now turned to the possibility of a jungle liaison, although most of the female contestants are at least twice his age.

He said: "I am a single man. Things didn't work out as planned with Sam. We're still talking, but there has been a lot of pain. I have not promised her I won't do anything in the jungle as we didn't talk about it. We are not boyfriend and girlfriend. I'm not really going to the jungle looking to get it on with anybody or have any flings.

"I want to be on my own for a bit — but if it happens it happens. I am not going to rule it out.

"When you are bored and lonely, there is nothing better than female company. I've wondered if any good-looking girls will be in there but I have not thought about having a relationship to boost my profile.

"But I am cheeky when I am single and I like to keep my options open. What young guy wouldn't do things when he is single? It is all good.

"You have got to have respect for women, and that is something I have got — and hopefully people will see that."

Show bosses had hoped he would get it on with Jessica Jane Clement, but she is now newly-engaged. Mark said: "She is off-limits. But Aussie girls are hot. If I come across one who knows?"

"It has been a very emotional year. I have played out my life and relationships on TV. I need a complete break.

"This is a great way to do it — go away, switch my phone off, be on my own, forget everything at home, then come back and have a fresh start."

He said he wanted viewers to see a new side to him, not just the lothario image he is asked to live up to.

Speaking of TOWIE, Mark went on: "Producers decide what part of your character they want to exaggerate.

"It was always me being the ladies man. I get a bit fed up with that persona. I am a bit of a cheeky chap but I have a lot more qualities.

"I am a nice guy, a team player, a shoulder to cry on and an emotional person — this will all come out on I'm A Celebrity. I'm looking forward to people seeing the real me."

But he is was gutted to leave his best mate and TOWIE co-star James "Arg" Argent. Mark said: "Arg is extremely upset about me leaving. We would always love doing our scenes together the most. But he is a big boy and will get on with it. I had a game plan and I always said I'd soon leave."

After I'm A Celeb, the former theatre student is looking at an acting career. He said: "I was in Lock Stock and Four Stolen Hooves. I want to do dramas first then move into films. The sky is the limit for me."
