X Factor 2011 judges: Louis Walsh not speaking to Kelly Rowland after she 'talked down to him'

LOUIS Walsh and Kelly Rowland are no longer on speaking terms after a furious bust-up.

The judges clashed on Saturday night’s X Factor when Kelly took issue with him saying singer Frankie Cocozza had “lost his swagger”.

She then infuriated the Irishman by deliberately talking over him several times.

It came as X Factor was hit by a ratings crisis after shedding two million viewers compared to this stage last year.

Louis, 59, told a friend: “Kelly has just waltzed in here from America and thinks she knows everything about the show.”

He is also angry that Kelly, who left Sunday night’s results show in exactly the same shade of turquoise as rival judge Tulisa, is ganging up to mock some of his acts, especially Johnny Robinson and Kitty Brucknell.

A show source added: “The way Kelly talked down to him was unacceptable as far as he is concerned. There is no love lost behind the scenes and Louis and Kelly are not speaking off screen and haven’t since Saturday night.

“Louis is just putting all his time into his acts and wants to make sure Kitty, Sami and Johnny have incredible performances. He’s already working on their next songs and spent time with them on Sunday night as Kelly and Gary were relaxing with their singers in their dressing rooms.”

Despite gaining 9.6million viewers during Saturday’s live shows, X Factor was beaten by the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing with 9.75million.

Sunday night’s programme rose to 11.4million viewers – compared to 13.4million for the same stage last year.

Bosses are said to be “very concerned”. A source said: “They’re not pushing the panic button yet but they’re getting close.”
