X Factor voice coach axed from Britain's Got Talent amidst show reshuffle

First she was axed from last season’s X Factor, then reinstated after problems arose, and now Yvie Burnett has been dismissed as voice coach for Britain’s Got Talent.

The 2011 series of the ITV1 talent show is creating a new line up of judges as well as hiring a new voice coach.

Despite Yvie helping past contests such as 2009 winner Susan Boyle and 2007 winner Paul Potts, the revamp means she is no longer required.

Axed: Voice coach Yvie Burnett has been dismissed from Britain's Got Talent but is hoping to keep her role on The X Factor

Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan will also not appear this season and instead Michael McIntyre and David Hasselhoff are stepping in as judges.

Yvie has worked on Britain’s Got Talent since it began in 2007 but a show spokeswoman told Mail Online: ‘The 2011 series sees a new line up on the judging panel and many new faces behind the scenes.’

The 42-year-old voice expert is said to be unhappy about the decision and is hopeful that her stint on X Factor will remain secure.

X Factor host Dermot O’Leary is also still unsure whether he’ll return to work on the UK talent show.

Helping hand: Yvie Burnett had coached Britain's Got Talent's 2009 winner Susan Boyle during her stint on the show

The presenter, who has hosted the reality show since 2007, said at the Elle Style Awards this week: ‘It’s ridiculous, it’s going to start soon.’

He is also said to be on a short-list to present the US X Factor and is one of four other possible presenters.

O’Leary continued: ‘I had my first meeting last week about UK X Factor and they don’t know either, it’s all quite up in the air.

‘There’s always a master plan normally, but I don’t think anyone has that at the moment.’

X Factor tour: Katie Waissel and One Direction arrived in Birmingham yesterday ahead of the finalist's three-month UK tour

Rehearsals: Mary Byrne (left) and Paije Richardson (right) were also in Birmingham rehearsing for their tour that kicks off tomorrow

So far Simon Cowell is the only judge confirmed for US X Factor, for which auditions start next month.

Meanwhile, last season’s X Factor finalists are busy preparing for their three-month tour that kicks off tomorrow in Birmingham.

Winner Matt Cardle and fellow contestants: Katie Waissel, Aiden Grimshaw, Mary Byrne, Paije Richardson, One Direction, Cher Lloyd, Rebecca Ferguson and Wagner Carrilho are gearing up for their tour around the UK.

Susan Boyle was the runner-up, so Daily Mail got that wrong!
Catwoman: "For one if I was a bloke, I would not flirt with you two. I have standards."
Toots: "If I had a figure like Ola's, I'd wear that outfit to Sainsburys!"
