Watch out folks! The handsome and determined former EastEnders star is already “warming his muscles for lifting the trophy”.

The only thing that seems to be getting in between him and the coveted prize are a few extra-curricular drinks down the pub. “I’m trying to be disciplined,” says the star. “The problem is too many cheeky beers. But after a day of solid training and working you just need to go and chill out!”

As a huge fan of the show, Sam’s setting himself some very high targets for the series. “I want to be better than Chris Fountain and Ray Quinn. It is a hard act to follow but that’s my goal.” Those are some big skates to fill – let’s hope Sam can do it!

Brianne first put on a pair of ice skates at the tender age of 2, she began skating competitively
at the age of 11.

In 1996 and 1997 she achieved her proudest competitive moment, representing her country in various competitions.

Her 9 years asa professional have seen her perform all over the world.  She says showbiz runs in her families blood as she is descended from the legendary Barnum of the Barnum and Bailey circus.  This will be Brianne's second year on Dancing on Ice.

Another former Ender, guess the BBC are letting their guard down big time and I'm glad Brianne will be back, she was robbed last year!

Brianne fell for ex-Corrie star Danny, 24, during last year's series, even though she was dancing with Hollyoaks' Kieron Richardson and he skated with Frankie Poultney.

Things got so serious between the pair that they moved in together over the summer.

But the relationship became strained after the Dancing On Ice tour ended. And blonde Brianne, 29, eventually moved out of their flat earlier this month.

Now Sam, who played Leon Small in EastEnders, has become a shoulder to cry on for the heartbroken ice dancer.

The 24-year-old screen hunk was pictured in TV Biz yesterday larking with Brianne following a training session.

A show source told TV Biz: "It was great seeing Brianne and Danny fall in love. But sadly after the tour ended they had nothing in common." Now show bosses are hoping Brianne and Sam get together and bring that chemistry to the ice rink.

Dancing On Ice has already spawned one romance - between Hollyoaks babe Jennifer Metcalfe and Sylvain Longchambon.

I heard about that months ago on Facebook. It was kinda sad, but obviously this is what happens when people fall for what the papers say

I don't watch Eastenders so didn't know who he was, however I think this is a fantastic partnership!

Brianne was great with Chris Fountain on the tour as well, I wondered whether the magic would be there for him without Frankie but they were fabulous.
 
Really looking forward seeing what Brainne and Sam can do. Thumbs%20Up
