4. Suzanne was the first celebrity in Dancing
On Ice history to score full marks from the
Judges gaining the perfect score of 30.0
twice in the final

· Ray was the first celebrity in Dancing on Ice
history to receive the highest score for
every week he skated.

5. The record for lowest score ever on the
show is held jointly by Todd Carty and Dr
Hilary Jones who both scored 7.5 out of a
possible 30. Todd scored this on 2
occasions

· Both Aggie MacKenzie and Todd Carty have
each scored the lowest score every week
of the competition they were in

6. The most number of skate-offs won by a
celebrity is 4. This record is held by Zaraah
Abrahams who was in series 3

· The tallest celebrity to skate on the show
was Steve Backley in series 3 at 6ft 5
inches

· The shortest celebrity to skate on the show
was Bonnie Langford in series 1 whose
height is 5ft 1 inch

7. The oldest female celebrity to have skated
in a previous series was Aggie MacKenzie
who was 52 years old when she appeared
on series 3. She will be superceded in
series 6 by Angela Rippon, who at 66 will
become our oldest celebrity of any gender

· The oldest male celebrity to have skated
on the show is Dr Hilary Jones who was 56
when he skated in series 5


8. To date Torvill and Dean have
choreographed over 450 routines

· At the 1984 Winter Olympics the pair
became the highest scoring figure skaters
of all time (for a single programme)
receiving twelve perfect 6.0s

· They have been skating together for
almost 35 years

· They have won the professional skating
championships 5 times

· The Bolero they skated to in 1984 was
approx 4 min 30 secs long, the version the
celebrities skate to on the series is 1 min 30
secs on average
