Apprentice girl's strife of Riley

By CARA LEE

Published: Today

BUMBLING hopeful Joanna Riley puts her foot in it during tonight's gruelling Apprentice interview episode by failing to name any of Lord Sugar's ventures.

The gobby contestant is lost for words when asked by the tycoon's colleague Bordan Tkachuk to list some of her potential future boss's companies.

After a deafening silence, Jo can only admit: "It's unprofessional of me."

But the 25-year-old candidate isn't the only one getting a hard time.

Rivals Stuart Baggs, Jamie Lester, Chris Bates and Stella English all struggle in the penultimate episode.

It sees the last five candidates interrogated by Tkachuk, Lord Sugar's former aide Margaret Mountford, Alan Watts and Claude Littner.

Margaret isn't impressed when joker Jamie says he has a third NIPPLE.

Stuart is in the firing line from lawyer Watts, who after studying his CV, barks: "You're actually not a very nice person are you?"

Three get the boot on BBC1 tonight.

The final is on Sunday.
