		Alex Reid wants Katie Waissel to win The X Factor 2010. 
The singer - who is being mentored by Cheryl Cole - has become the target of an internet hate campaign by some viewers who feel she took axed Gamu Nhengu's place in the live shows. 
But Alex, 35, says Katie, 24, deserves a chance. 
'Contrary to the opinion of pretty much everyone, I really like Katie Waissel!' he says. 'I like the freaky ones, I guess.'
Alex - who also likes Paije Richardson - is nagging wife Katie Price, 32, to blag some free tickets for the live shows.   
'Hopefully, we will get to to go down there at some point,' he adds. 'Katie is friends with Simon Cowell, so she'll be able to pull some strings, I'm sure.'

	Maybe, but the public haven't forgotten about her past mentioned in the papers, think it's a little too late to give her support
