EASTENDERS star John Partridge is planning to marry his long-term boyfriend Jon Tsouras.

The 38-year-old, who plays Christian Clarke in the soap, said he thinks it's time to take the next step in their relationship.

John, who is also a judge on Over The Rainbow judge, told Heat magazine: "My lovely Jon's Canadian and it's all about when his family can come over, which might be this autumn.

"We've been together for seven years and it's about time I made an honest man of him."

The former musical theatre star said that despite having choreographed a Bollywood dance routine on EastEnders, he wasn't planning on a similar routine at his wedding.

He continued: "There might be some Irish dancing, though. We've both got Irish roots, so there could be a bit of the old Riverdance!"
