Hello sailor! Nicole Scherzinger spices up Dancing With The Stars in a revealing naval outfit

As a member of the Pussycat Dolls she's used to being raunchy and wearing revealing outfits.

And Nicole Scherzinger didn't let the side down on Dancing With The Stars this week as she performed in a sexy sailor outfit.

The 32-year-old entertainer took to the floor in an eye-popping, low-cut top for a lively quickstep with partner Derek Hough.

Hello sailor! Nicole Scherzinger wowed the audience on the Dancing With The Stars in a revealing sailor's outift

All hands on deck: The Pussycat Doll and partner Derek Hough put in a high-energy performance for their Anthing Goes routine

She did well to preserve her modesty during a high-energy, slapstick routine to Anything Goes by Cole Porter.

In a amusing, theatrical rendition, Lewis Hamilton's girlfriend and her partner began by mopping the floor, before launching into a series of impressive manoeuvres.

Before the show Nicole explained partner Derek Hough's strategy for the week's performance

She said: 'We had the quickstep. We decided to take a risk and do something that we wanted to do on our own. We're not really playing by the rules necessarily.

Fun loving: The couple fool around with their mops backstage

Tight-lipped: The pair were shocked by Len Goodman's criticism of their quickstep - and the suggestion they'd taken the mickey

'We're taking it old school. We're going back to the basics of, like, sheer entertainment and being performers, kind of like slapstick comedy.

'And [we're] just having a good time. I don't know if the judges are gonna necessarily like it so much. We'll see.'

The couple were eventually awarded a total score of 23 for entertainment value despite criticism from the judges that it wasn't strictly a quickstep.

Len Goodman, who gave them six points, said: 'I think you took the title of the song too literally, Anything Goes. I got the story, I got the performance, I got clever.

Crest of a wave: Nicole and Derek pick up 23 points for their efforts

Sorry, Len: But Nicole felt obliged to apologise for 'breaking the rules' with the act

'I didn't get quickstep, you broke the rules.

'You are taking the mickey out of us judges, because that wasn't a quickstep.'

Both Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba agreed with Len's assessment, but awarded the couple nine and eight points respectively.

The criticism left Scherzinger clearly shocked - speaking after the judges' feedback she said: 'We weren't trying to take the Mickey, Len, I'm so sorry - we did take the song literally, Anything Goes, and we just wanted to have fun with it.'

I'm the king of the world: The couple reenacted scenes from Titanic in rehearsals, although Nicole broke down in tears at one point while they practised together

Nicole and Derek finished the show joint second place to sports presenter Erin Andrews and Maksim Chmerkovskiy's waltz.

ESPN presenter Erin, 31, admitted: 'People are going to think this is really hot - or really kinky and inappropriate' as she allowed herself to be blindfolded with partner Chmerkovskiy taking the lead.

Daring: Erin Andrews allowed herself to be blindfolded by partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy for their waltz routine

Results: The sexy performance landed Erin and her partner with 23 points from the judges

And judges were impressed by the performance, with Bruno quipping 'it starts in a blindfold and ends up in handcuffs'.

Andrews has had her security beefed since receiving numerous death threats by email during the last six months

Figure skater Evan Lysacek, 24, and his partner Anna Trebunskaya took the week's highest score for their Quickstep routine which was based on the story of a husband and wife.

Advice: Spanish entertainer Charo told Pamela Anderson, right, to always look straight at the camera

Pamela Anderson, 42, took advice during rehearsals from Spanish entertainer Charo who told her to always look straight at the camera, pointing to her breasts and quipping: 'You cannot see your feet with your big maracas.'

The former Baywatch star turned heads in a beautiful figure-hugging white dress for the paso doble she performed with dance partner Damian Whitewood

They eventually picked up 21 points for the routine.

Well executed: The former Baywatch star performed a raunchy Pasodoble with dance partner Damian Whitewood

Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin, 80, took the week's lowest score with just 13 points for his simple but well executed waltz set to What a Wonderful World.

The story of their dance centred on a war hero returning home to his daughter.

Despite her experience as a pop star Miss Scherzinger admitted that her dance routines are the hardest thing she's had to do in a long time.

I'm holding on for a hero: Buzz Aldrin took the lowest score of the night for his simple routine based on a war hero returning home

She revealed: 'I didn't anticipate, honestly, that it was going to be so challenging.

'I'm used to hard work, being on tour with the Pussycat Dolls and going non-stop, but this style of dance is so foreign to my body. It's quite frustrating at times.'

Viewers will find out who leaves the show when the results are announced tomorrow.
