It does save on the "Messages from Home" budget, some of these were very touching, particularly the holographic ones from last year.
 
It must be to make the last series more cost-effective.

Missed those!

I don't get the big deal re messages from home, your folks know exactly where you are, and (in my case) would probably be happy to know I was under lock and key, would be their first worry free time in ages

This idea is to embarrass the housemates but it's not in a 'good' funny way. It would freak out the housemate concerned. Not well though out at all!

Hope this isn't a snapshot of things to come from BB11

OK we knew in our hearts that CBB was never going to be truly 'evil' but I hope the producers don't get too complacent and lazy ont he back of the success of CBB.

More decent tasks, live feed, and night tasks oh and no sleeping during the day or before 1am
