THIS is the first bit of news JEDWARD won't say "deadly" about.

The twins' hopes of landing a No1 are fading fast.

Their version of Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) was 24 copies behind OWL CITY on Tuesday, but that gap has widened to 4,000.

Cold-hearted CHRISTINE BLEAKLEY, who had a go at the boys at the NTAs last month, must have jinxed them.

I thought their single was a nailed-on chart-topper. What chance an album now?

Who remembers Diane Vickers from the "Alex-Burke" season of the X Factor?

Well, she's just about to release her debut single called "Once" which is co-written by a certain Cathy Dennis.   And if Cathy Dennis is involved in it, it's bound to be a chart topper, alongside the ranks of chart-toppers for S Club 7, Katy Perry (soon to be Katy Brand?) and Britney Spears.
 
Jedward will be like The Cheeky Girls - swallow fame up too quickly, and, before you know it, they'll be bankrupt.

I can't bear to listen to that monstrosity Vickers. Her voice goes right through me.

Nah! I think Jedward have a bit more life in them than Chico (last I heard he was performing at Butlins and making a big deal of being the 'star' turn)

I think Louis can squeeze them for a big longer Whistle

Oh I don't know, people can be fickle. They can't actually sing and are going to be landed with cover after cover. I suppose they could have a few hits like the Cheeky Girls before they become even more of a curiosity than they are already.

I, on the other hand, see star quality potential for Diana

She's already had success on Little Voice and with her debut single and album arriving, I can see her being a chart-topper for sure

She could be a huge surprise on the pop scene - like not winning Opportunity Knocks but going on to bigger and better things anyway!!!
 
Remember Lemar didn't win Fame Academy - and he's doing great!!!!

The problem with Diana Vickers (for me) is that she sang normally in Little Voice but on her own stuff we get that affected, fake, Dolores O' Riordan-rip off that makes me want to headbutt a window then drag my wrists along the jagged edges.
