I thought there might have been a thread about this already. Who's seen it? I saw it a couple of weeks ago and loved it from start to finish. I didn't care that the characters are totally one-dimensional or that the plot is as predictable as it gets (although maybe not as predictable as Titanic ), I thought it was probably the most beautiful-looking film I'd ever seen.

The local cinema were showing a 2D version too but I can't think who would want to see that, except for one-eyed people.

What did you think?

I'm working on the DVD release and haven't managed to into an Imax yet to see it, even in Oz it was completely sold out. Will have to give up and go to The Picture House instead,

The local Cineworld were showing it in 3D so I went there for convenience - the Imax is too out of the way.

Saw it at the local cinema last Tuesday (3D 18+) and saw it again this afternoon in 3D and have booked to go and see it at the IMAX at the end of February (that was the earliest I could get a seat!).  I absolutely love it from start to finish.Clap

Can anyone tell me the difference between the 3D 18+ version and the ordinary 3D version because I couldn't see any difference at all.Confused

I saw it a couple of weeks ago in 3D. I really enjoyed it. My sister and my niece saw it at Imax and my niece ended up with a headache and sat in the foyer for half the movie. The staff got my sister out and she had to take my niece home. She ended up going to the local budget cinema (2D film) and paid to see the last half of the movie.

It's just occurred to me that it probably meant they weren't letting anyone in under 18 even though the film is a 12A.  They only have the 18+ versions a couple of times a week.  Stupid, Moi?  Whistle

I don't think there is.  I think it meant the cinema doesn't allow anyone under 18 in just for that showing so that you can watch in peace without kids running around.  They only have a couple of 18+ showings a week.  The rest are all 12A which means adults can take their kids in of any age.
