I must admit I've been watching this recently and have found it just as fascinating as the UK version.
Even more so when you consider that Ivana Trump's ex-hubby, Donald, is the man with the task of saying "You're Fired" every week, in some cases doing a double firing.
The episode I watched last night from series two (showing on BBC ONE in the UK in double bills every Tuesday night) involved the candidates creating a retreat for dealers in General Motors.
Retreat One (Synergy) involved at first skeet shooting, but this was banned by the park ranger, and they improvised with Golf Buggy Racing, which was fun to watch.
Retreat Two (Gold Rush) involved a rather tacky putting green and an even more tacky and at times "blue" comedienne, which was certainly embarrasing. Sad to think that this team had triumphed the week before. It's interesting to see that one of the candidates in this series was called Brent, I wonder if he'd picked up some of his habits from Ricky Gervais (David BRENT)?
I find the USA version just as good as the UK version, and it's a shame that the BBC choose to show it at such a late hour, whereas the UK version gets a primetime slot (they are showing previous episodes from time to time on a UK channel called Dave (www.joindave.co.uk)).
But, at least I can tape it on my Freeview+ box and watch it back.
