See Rachel will be back then with Vinthent, they certainly looked good on Saturday.

Presume Ali, and Brian, too, what about Lisa Snowdon? will she be participating with Brendan?
Has Nat-alie already jetted off downunder??

Also will Ian be taking part ????? Is Jade upto it??? It can't be Zoe, so maybe Denise??

Would love to see Phil take part again, but don't think he finished high enough???

What about Matt Cutler with Alesha?? now that would be good to see them again!

I've never been a fan of the Chrimbo special... the reason I tune in to the main show, is that it is a competition. Each week you see the couples train (even go on a J*****y), get better, worse, and then one goes home, and you get nearer someone being crowned champion. That's the whole idea behind the show... I can't see the point of watching them dance in one evening, there's no investment in it from me....

Plus, if Gethins in it, I'm not watching... Period

I'll be watching this, and I wanna see Ali, Ricky or Austin win it, just to wipe the smirk off the BBC's Face!

I'll be watching but i'd like to see Rachel win it.
The thing i don't like about the Christmas special is they use Christmas songs Big%20smile  Sounds ridiculous i know but it annoys me.

LOLI'm just watching it for the fun, and the Chrissy atmosphere, plus after a few sherry's i'm sure I'll love it.  Don't care about the competitive side it the Xmas show, it's just for the glitter and glamour, and entertainment
I imagine  a lot of us, me included won't move  very far from the couch (whoever's it is)  on Christmas Day.
I've escaped cooking yet again!!! sitting on someone else's couch ha....ha.... last year shrimp  bbq in Aus, this year somewhat colder, watching the good old telly!!!!! in England,....
mmmmm .... what to do next year.
Definitely somewhere warm i think.

Hope Santa jingles all of your bells!!!

I wish Alesha was on it with Matt, doesn't she qualify? didn't she only win 2 years ago??
Suppose you can't be a judge and be on it, but could'nt she of entered, and  brought Arlene b ack, or just use DArcy for the Christmas show???

No Matt then, No Ian? No Lillia???!!!!!

I wouldn't mind seeing Alesha dance again as she was bloody good, i bet she'd like to aswell but i don't suppose she can while being a judge.

I'm out Xmas day but will hopefully be home in time for anything decent on the tv, then i'll be glued to the settee with drink in one hand and munchies in the other ClapI do believe SCD is on at 7 so that should be ok.

I'm quite interested in seeing Gethin as it's been a while since he danced and i wonder what he'll be like wit Flavia.  Apparently he danced with her on the tour so maybe they'll be good together, i wonder why Camilla can't do it though.

Alesha's been on the last two Christmas specials so they probably wanted to bring someone else back instead, plus as she's been a judge this year, I guess they felt it wasn't appropriate for her to dance instead.

I think as Camilla has made the decision to leave the show, she's not under contract and therefore not eligible to be included in the Christmas special, and as you said, Gethin partnered Flavia on the tour, so he's already used to dancing with her.

It does seem strange not to have a previous series winner coming back though, and only Rachel actually made the final in her series. Still, I'm looking forward to it!

Has she really, i've totally forgotten, terrible memory i've got but i do recall Jill winning recently, was that last year?

I didn't even notice there were no previous winners in the line up, Tom should be there but perhaps he's busy.  I'm actually quite looking forward to Austin, Gethin and Rachel as i alwasy enjoyed their dancing when they were competing so should be a good show.

Last year Jill won, and the other couple in the top two was Brian and Kelly.  Alesha scored highest with the judges.  It was after the 'points fiasco' that saw Tom win so when 3 couples tied for the top spot, Len ranked them 1, 2, and 3 with Alesha highest. Didn't help with the audience vote.

The year before I was in the audience for the xmas special, when Darren Gough and Lilia won. It wasn't the best technical dance of the night, but you really felt a frisson in the audience when they danced it.  My guess is they won by a landslide - and that was with Alesha and Mark Ramps also in it.

I wonder if Darcey judged the xmas special.  It was filmed on Monday after the final.

Not long now, gonna be good hopefully. I'm backing Chris and Ola. I just wish they didn't have to dance to christmas songs. I'd love to see their charleston again.

Very boring, billed as a spectacular, nothing spectacular about it as far as I could see, very underwhelming and typical of the way the BBC have performed this series.

Where were the rest of this years contestants and pros? endured the guest 'stars' the last in a long line of mediochre stars.

Lets hope the next series gets a better line up of A list celebs and fewer of them better guest singers, at least lets have some who are not past it.
