I'm regretting not going to the tour this year as I too would like to see Austin & Lilia dance together. Height wise they are also more suitable. I am surprised Austin is doing the tour leaving a young family at home but I suppose the mortgage has to be paid! I would also have enjoyed seeing Kelly dance again as she impressed me from the start in her series, and I personally didn't find her as annoying as I did Lisa but each to their own.

suppose the tour is sold out now?? is there a tour website? I don't suppose anyone is coming anywhere near East Anglia anyway. Trying to get interested in DOI, but as i know nobody on it apart from Sharron Davies, and Heather Mills, don't know any of the skating pro's or even who Kieran Bracken is?????as only watched Ray last year, and Todd Carty from the PC downloads,
Oh i know Emma Bunton too, but have no idea what she's there for.
Would love to see Austin and Lillia anyway on SCD, and the others touring.
will check out web now.

Kieran Bracken was a rugby player who was exalted for being so good - but he wasn't in Ray's league as far as I am concerned.
I think Emma's on as a judge for the dancing part - since she starred in Strictly as a contestant, she must now be an expert on dance hey?
I don't actually mind that I don't know the contestants much. I'm looking forward to seeing Jeremy Sheffield though - he was a ballet dancer in the Royal Ballet before he took up acting so he could be very good.

I dont think it would be sold out but probably not a great choice of seats left. I booked my 2009 tickets shortly after the 2008 tour finished. I will have to make up my mind in the next few weeks whether to book for the 2011 tour. With the expense of Christmas etc. I think the tickets are available too early for the following year.
One year I am determined to get to the DOI tour but will have to find out when the tickets become available which as with SCD is before the tv advertising.
Am looking forward to watching DOI at the weekend and I also don't know everyone but I prefer it that way. I have learnt by watching SCD and DOI that I shouldn't judge a book by it's cover which I always seem to at the beginning and am usually pleasantly surprised. Ray's skating & performance skills will take some beating imo....I loved watching him and Maria and his ballroom/latin training served him well....think he would be a far better judge on SCD than Alesha

We went to the DOI show a couple of years ago at WWembley - tkt prices about the same as SCD. We were a long way from the ice but had a clear view plus the large screens helped. Did feel part of it too. Personally I think the tkt prices for both are way too dear - for a family of 5 you could take a week's holiday in Spain or France! |

Hi Shamon - not started yet
- snowed in before Christmas and just so we don't forget it's winter we're snowed in again - so hopefully sometime soon I'll be able to get a life again....... so sick of Christmas pickings and leftovers and Cadbury's Roses and the Quality Street - need some REAL chocolate! Been catching up with the DWTS (we record it and watch once SCD is finished) and I must say am not at all impressed with the 'stars' (other than Donny, Macy and Mya I haven't a clue), the dancing - still have to listen carefully to know what they are actually supposed to be dancing and the outfits are to die for (well the designer should have the decency to crawl away and commit Hara Kiri somewhere) completely awful. Makes you realise that although this season's SCD was quite the worst it is still way ahead of the US version in almost all respects - possibly excepting the music and musicians.....

Ladymac, its a shame you haven't been able to start lessons yet,at least its something to look forward to maybe in the Spring ? A lot of people are having it really really tough at the moment and its no start to the New Year.

Most of the pro & celebs hang around outside the stage door and were happy to talk, give authographs and have photo's taken.
