Are they treated as costume and go back to wardrobe or can the dancers keep them?

Tess gets hers from various designers, not the BBC Costume Department and they are only on loan for the one night, then they have to go back.  Don't think much of her choice of dresses though.

Yes - she should put in a call to Aunty Gok.  I had heard that the BBC dresses are sold to other countries where they are re-used in other SCD shows.

Some are kept and reused.

For example, the dress Lilia wore during last night's Hairspray routine, was the same one Louisa wore for the Dirty Dancing number on the first tour.

And Flavia is wearing the same dress.
