5 minute chocolate cake

Ingredients:

4 Tablespoons cake flour
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons cocoa
1 Egg
3 Tablespoons milk
3 Tablespoons oil
1 Mug

Instructions:

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa:

Spoon in 1 egg

Pour in milk and oil, and mix well

Put in microwave for 3 minutes on maximum power (1000watt)

Wait until it stops rising and sets in the mug

Tip contents out of mug onto saucer and enjoy!

when you say cake flour do you mean self raising or plain flour?

The recipe worked well Chunks. The students loved it, although not all the microwaves in the food tech kitchen are 1000 watts, so there was a little variation in final product. I went to see how they evaluated the lesson - couldn't get a word out of them as they were too busy eating.

That looks so good and easy. I never knew you could make cake in a microwave. This is much easier than doing it in an oven. My daughter will have fun making this with me.
