Great link thanks, Laura. I love acoustic sets. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE the last 90 seconds of this performance on Later. It actually send s shivers up my spine. Raw...energy. Love it. Reminds me of Saffron from Republica.

I LOVE Bat Out Of Hell! The whole album, not just the one song. I don't think anything after that has come close although I'd Lie For You (And That's The Truth) is fab.

Well, this is the first time I've visited the Music Room, because, to be honest, I mostly listen to classical music and I had a feeling I'd be in a minority. But I do occasionally listen to something a bit more modern than Mozart.

I read an interview with Duffy a couple of months ago and idly listened to a couple of tracks on YouTube - I was instantly hooked. I love her album and can't stop playing it. It has some incredible tracks on it. I'm completely besotted! I don't know that Duffy would welcome my approval, as the last CD I bought was by Joseph Calleja, a Maltese tenor who I think has a brilliant voice, but will, alas, never top the pop charts.

Just got to hear the Ting Tings the other day - I love them now.

Also liking Danity Kane. Only vaguely knew of them previously but they're sort of R&B/pop/electro-ish with a few fab songs. I think I heard P Diddy's involved somewhere but they's not at ALL hip-hop.

I hate the beginning but it's definitely a grower and I love the ending!
