Not a good start to this years season re the news of Shaun Newton & his drug taking and a 7 months ban... It should have been longer in my eyes - I'm so anti drugs... But on to better news ; West Ham United kicked off their pre-season campaign on Thursday evening with a hard-working 2-0 victory over FC Trollhattan. In the first of three matches on the tour of Sweden, goals from James Collins and Dean Ashton sealed the win as Hammers started their preparations for the new season with an energetic work-out. That seems to have gone a bit quiet. I'm thinking Liverpool have Pennant as their number one target now. Looks like Pardew is amassing a decent side. Cole will be a good player one day, very good. You are after Pantsil who was recommended by Yossi so that might be a good sign that he is staying.

Well it was a 3-1 win to West Ham today.. ..
Sadly I never saw any of the match as I was in the First Aid Room and had to deal with 15 casualties with 2 going to hospital.. I was glad when the game ended ..

Zamora's on fire!
Actually nice to see Bowyer playing so well. Apart from all his little "foibles" he was a more than decent player once, and could be again! |
